& Release Form​

 

1. Only use salon quality products on your Hair Extensions. Using high-quality products will extend the lifespan of your Hair extensions. Discuss which products are a good fit for your hair with your stylist.

 

2. I am aware that hair extensions do not produce the natural oils that my own hair does. For this reason, hair extensions can become dry. Using proper products such as salon quality moisturizing shampoos and conditioners along with moisture treatments, hair oils and heat protection sprays are highly recommended.

 

3. It is very important to be gentle with your hair extensions. While hair extensions themselves will not harm your hair, rough handling of them will pull your hair and may cause damage.

 

4. Brush extensions 2-3 times a day with the recommended hair extension brush. It is very important to brush the return hair, which are the shorter hairs at the top of the weft, to avoid matting. Start at the bottom and work your way up to avoid damage to your extensions. Always pull extensions into a covered hair tie or braid while sleeping. Never go to bed with wet hair. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase is highly recommended.

 

5. I am aware I will need a maintenance appointment every 6-12 weeks to have the wefts moved up. Clients with naturally finer hair will require appointments more frequently than those with medium-thick hair.

 

6. I am aware that Hair Extensions can-not be bleached and by doing so will void any warranty on the product.

 

7. Wefts can “sag” when they are wet for an extended period of time. I am aware that I should not let the wefts air dry. Blow drying the weft after showers and damp environments is very important. The hair itself can be air dried and is recommended. 

 

8. Activities taking place in a constant, damp environment such as aerobics, steam baths or saunas, as well as excessively hot environments such as tanning beds may lessen the longevity of the extensions. Dry your wefts as soon as possible after any of these activities.

 

9. Salt water and chlorine can cause hair extensions to become dry. To minimize these effects, wet hair completely in a shower and apply a conditioner from mid shaft to ends.

 

10. In order to extend the life of your extensions it is recommended to only wash every 2-3 days if not longer. Most clients find that they have to wash their hair less often with extensions especially with the aid of a dry shampoo.

 

11. I am aware that hand-tied wefts can NEVER be cut and by doing so will cause the weft to unravel.

 

12. I am aware that hand-tied wefts are sewn into my hair quite tight and this can cause some minor discomfort for up to one week. Slight itching may occur for the first week due to the return hair being very close to the scalp. If problems persist after one week, contact your stylist.

 

13. There are no refunds, exchanges or returns on hair extensions once the hygiene seal is removed from the package.

14. There are no refunds on hair extension application/service

15. Pricing discussed during my consultation is an estimate based on the recommended amount of hair and services needed. Additional hair or services requested may affect the final investment.

16. I understand that extension hair is considered a custom order and all deposits and payments related to the hair purchase are non-refundable once the order has been placed.

​

Hair Order Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before your custom hair can be ordered. Because each order is selected specifically for your color, length, texture, and desired result, all extension hair is custom ordered and cannot be returned.

Installation Appointment Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit of your scheduled extension installation service is also required to reserve your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward your service total on the day of your appointment.

Because extension appointments require several hours to complete and reserve dedicated time on our stylists' schedules, your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Credit Card on File

A valid credit or debit card is required to be securely kept on file before your extension installation appointment.

​

Your card will not be charged without your authorization, except as outlined in this agreement, including late cancellations, no-shows, unpaid balances, or other applicable salon policies.

Keeping a card on file allows us to process future maintenance appointments, additional hair orders, and any applicable charges quickly and securely.​​​​​
